Scholarship In Italy 2023-24: Recognizing the importance of international students as a fundamental instrument for the internationalization of the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Directorate-General of Public and Cultural Diplomacy, ITA, Italian Trade Agency, and Uni-Italia, with the support of Unioncamere (Italian Chambers of Commerce) and Confindustria (Italian Confederation of Italian Industries), within the framework of the “Invest Your Talent in Italy” Program, launched the “Invest Your Talent in Italy”
Scholarships are awarded for Master’s degree courses (Laurea Magistrale or Master Universitario) at Italian Higher Education Institutes (state-owned or state-recognized institutions) that are part of the “Invest Your Talent in Italy” Program.
The program also includes a required internship at select Italian companies that are initiative partners.
The program aims to increase collaboration between Italian universities and businesses in an effort to boost their internationalization.
It also enables young foreign talent to obtain a specialization in Italy and to begin work experience with participating Italian companies.

Invest Your Talent In Italy Requirements
Applicants must be citizens of one of the following countries to be eligible for a scholarship: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Mexico, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam.
Invest Your Talent In Italy Eligibility
At the time of the Call’s deadline, only those who meet the following requirements may submit an application.
Invest Your Talent In Italy Academic Qualifications
Only those candidates specified in Articles 1 and 2 who possess the academic qualifications (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent) required to enroll in the selected Master’s Degree Program may submit an application (Laurea Magistrale or Master Universitario). Candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree.
Students who are currently enrolled in an Italian university or who have earned an Italian university degree are ineligible for the IYT Program.
Invest Your Talent In Italy Age Requirements
Candidates must be born on or after January 1, 1996. Students applying to renew a scholarship are exempt from this rule.
Invest Your Talent In Italy Language Skills
- As proof of their English proficiency, candidates must submit an English language certificate.
- Candidates must possess a minimum B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages certificate (CEFR).
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree taught in English may submit a certificate from their university stating that English is the language of instruction in their university, course, or faculty. This certificate can be accepted as evidence of English proficiency.
- Evidence of Italian proficiency is not required but will be taken into account during the selection process.
Invest Your Talent In Italy Tuition Fees
Those who are awarded a scholarship through the “Invest Your Talent in Italy” Program are exempt from paying tuition fees, with the exception of the Regional Tax for “Diritto allo Studio,” stamp duty, any expense regarding accident insurance and/or civil liability, and the health insurance policy.
Invest Your Talent In Italy Health And Medical Insurance
Recipients must purchase a health insurance policy to cover any medical or accident-related expenses.
