Your contribution will be as follows:
The Practice Manager directs and supervises the day-to-day operations of assigned Medical Group Physician Practices in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations, as well as Adventist Health Systems Corporate guidelines and regulations. The Practice Manager is in charge of enforcing all policies, including but not limited to revenue cycle management and human resources.
The contribution you will make to the team:
- Manages offices in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring that employees provide high-quality care in a courteous and friendly environment.
- Supervises the establishment of new physician practices. This includes both newly recruited and established community physicians. Assists with credentialing tasks.
- Will coordinate, monitor, and improve each practice’s operations, including flow management, documentation, training, and staffing, as well as oversight of all provider practice operations.
- Coordinates the practice hiring process. Completes performance evaluations on time and participates in employee counseling, coaching, and termination in accordance with policy. Provides new employee orientation and ensures compliance with department policy and procedure. Maintains high levels of employee engagement and job performance through recognition and learning opportunities
- Oversees and is accountable for practice revenue cycle management, which includes but is not limited to up-front collections, correct modifier use, and physician coding for “Clean Claim” processing.
- Communicates with the Director about practice operations.
- Acts as a liaison between the physician and the CBO, as well as between the HCP Finance and the FHMMC operations.

Eligibility
Minimum requirements:
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of three years of relevant supervisory experience in a healthcare, clinic, or physician group practice setting is required.
- A year of experience in a healthcare, clinic, or physician group practice setting is required.
- Driving privileges are required.
- Physician coding and billing procedures must be understood.

Qualifications preferred:
- Multiple practice management revenue cycle management that is both desirable and effective
- Accounting system knowledge, as well as hospital and physician insurance billing and collection.
