Jiangsu University (JSU) has opened admissions to all degree programs in accordance with the CSC  Scholarship Initiative. In an effort to promote cultural exchange and Chinese universities, the Chinese government annually awards international students with scholarships.

Details of Jiangsu University JSU Scholarships

The recipient of any fully-funded Chinese scholarship at Jiangsu University will be eligible to receive a monthly stipend in CNY, accommodation at the Jiangsu University dormitory, allocation of a one-time settlement allowance with monthly paid stipends, free laboratory, library, and sports complex entrance upon successful admission to the university, health insurance, and funding for conference participation and similar activities.

• Recipients enrolled in an undergraduate program will receive a monthly stipend of 2500 RMB in addition to free housing and a tuition waiver.
• Applicants to master’s degree programs will receive a 3,000 RMB monthly stipend and a tuition waiver. Room and board are also included.
• A monthly stipend of 3,500 RMB will be provided for the living expenses of doctoral students. There are no fees associated with tuition or housing for the students. Free on-campus housing is provided for all recipients.

Jiangsu University JSU Scholarships Application Procedure

International students must create a free account on the Jiangsu University Overseas Education College website’s application evaluation portal (link available at the end of this article). After creating an account on the Jiangsu University OEC portal, select the degree and subject for which you wish to apply. Then, fill in your credentials and attach all application supporting materials, such as a research proposal, motivation letter, study plan, proof of English language proficiency, and letters of recommendation.

Then, review your application and make any necessary changes if you find any errors or omissions. Lastly, send Jiangsu University your application for admission and wait for an email with an offer of conditional admission.

Requirement of IELTS at Jiangsu University: Optional

If English is not your native tongue, you will be required by the OEC of Jiangsu University to provide evidence of your English proficiency. Jiangsu University accepts these exams: IELTS, CanTEST, Duolingo, and TOEFL. To apply for a scholarship at Jiangsu University, IELTS is not required. Jiangsu University accepts English language proficiency certificates as well.

Application Fees of Jiangsu University

CSC Scholarship applicants at Jiangsu University are exempt from application fees, whereas all other applicants must pay an application fee of RMB 200 to apply for admission or a scholarship at Jiangsu University.
