ielts fees in Pakistan 2023: We provide a variety of suitable test dates at 18 approved IELTS test center locations around Pakistan. You can take your IELTS exam on paper or on a computer. Whichever option you choose, you will need to go to a testing center to take your exam.

The British Council Pakistan offers IELTS on paper in 17 locations. Islamabad, Abbottabad, Gujrat, Peshawar, Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Mirpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha,  Jhelum, Sukkur, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin and Sialkot.

With up to ten test dates every month, the British Council Pakistan offers IELTS on computers in six locations: Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Peshawar, and Sukkur.

If you need a visa to work or study in the UK, you may be required to take IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration or IELTS Life Skills.

Important Note: In order to ensure the safety of students and venue staff, and in accordance with Government of Pakistan guidelines, all candidates (ages 12+) must now bring their Covid-19 vaccination certificates/cards to exam venues or show vaccination confirmation via SMS on the day of the exam. Candidates who are unable to present proof of vaccination may be denied the exam and must ask for a Test Date Transfer or Refund.

Timetable for testing The Listening, Reading, and Writing components of the test will all be performed on the same day, with no breaks. Every session allows for social distancing. Morning classes are often held between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Afternoon classes are often held between 1 and 4 p.m.

If you take IELTS on paper, your Speaking test will be on a different day than the rest of the test, within a 7-day window before or after the main test day. You will receive an email 48 hours in advance confirming your Speaking test date.
