- Be a resident of Florida and a US citizen or an eligible noncitizen, as decided by the student’s college or university.
- Finish the FFAA by August 31 of the year after high school graduation.
- Go to a Florida public high school, a private high school registered with the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), and get a normal Florida high school diploma or the equivalent. You can also finish a home education program.
