The European Parliament Internship is a five-month internship program in Brussels, Luxembourg, and Strasbourg. The traineeship program will be formally organized in the Secretariat (Schumann Traineeships) and traineeships with Members of the European Parliament. International applicants from any country with any nationality can apply. Applicants from the European Member States are also eligible to apply. The European Parliament traineeship will cover the expenses of the participants.

Required Qualifications
You need a university degree after completing at least three years of study. You must have obtained your diploma at least three months before the first day of your traineeship. You can also apply if you don’t have a degree and you can apply with a transcript.

You must be at least 18 years old to apply. There is no upper age limit.

Yes. Competent authorities may offer a limited number of traineeships to applicants.
Outside the EU If you are selected, you will need to apply for any visas, residence permits, and work permits.
