Center Manager in the US at Community Medical Centers Inc: The Center Manager III is in charge of overseeing all operational aspects for specific CMC sites in order to achieve optimal service access, excellent customer service, quality, cost, and delivery performance in accordance with the CMC Mission, strategic goals, and values. The Center Manager III provides support and direction to practice staff in order to improve their performance, skills, and knowledge.
DUTIES SPECIFIC:
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Supports the implementation and fosters a greater understanding of the Mission and Values of Community Medical Centers among staff.
- To create an efficient patient-centered care environment, coordinate and manages the operations of assigned CMC sites, including front office, clinical records, health promotions, and back office clinical functions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate healthcare services in collaboration with clinical leadership and center clinical providers.
- Attain access and profitability goals;
- To ensure quality and staff competencies, provide direct supervision to clinical support staff in collaboration with the CNO and nursing leadership.
- Integrate the Patient-Centered Care philosophy and principles, as well as communication skills, into all operational functions.
- Leads employees to achieve all job objectives; instills confidence and motivation; defines expectations clearly, and maintains personal effectiveness under pressure.
- Collaborates with the Director of Health Information Technology to ensure that all HIT programs are used to their full potential.
- Use data to improve efficiency, quality, and employee empowerment.
- Develops, monitors, and analyzes site budgets and financial information in collaboration with the CFO and COO, and makes efficient and cost-effective use of all resources.
- Support a transparent culture by developing, sharing, and continuously updating site data, dashboards, and reports with site staff.
- Collaborates with the Director of Health Information Technology to ensure that all HIT programs are used to their full potential.
- Use data to improve efficiency, quality, and employee empowerment.
- Develops, monitors, and analyzes site budgets and financial information in collaboration with the CFO and COO, and makes efficient and cost-effective use of all resources.
- Support a transparent culture by developing, sharing, and continuously updating site data, dashboards, and reports with site staff.
- Tracks time off requests in order to assist in adequately staffing clinic site(s) and communicates absences or schedule changes with other sites, supervisors, and any other necessary CMC employees;
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and training of all clinic staff.
- Identifies, implements, and sustains opportunities to boost employee morale and individual motivation; ensures that each employee understands their role, the desired outcome of their work, and the resources available to achieve these outcomes;
- Working closely with supervisors and other management personnel to ensure that standards, policies, and procedures are followed;
- Oversees the ordering and inventory processes for all site supplies; is in charge of keeping the facility clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Attends meetings as scheduled and performs other duties as assigned;
- While on the job, adhere to all safety regulations. Reports accidents as soon as possible and correct minor safety hazards.
- Conducts employee evaluations and consultations for employees; Completes ADP timesheets reviews time off requests, and makes necessary staffing adjustments in accordance with CMC policies.
- Tracks time off requests in order to assist in adequately staffing clinic site(s) and communicates absences or schedule changes with other sites, supervisors, and any other necessary CMC employees;
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and training of all clinic staff.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PERFORMANCE
Knowledge, abilities, and skills:
- Ambulatory care, CPT/ICD-9 coding procedures, and familiarity with Medi-Cal, Medicare, and commercial insurance billing procedures are required.
- Understanding of EHR systems as well as other electronic systems and programs.
- Excellent social skills, professional demeanor, and leadership abilities; ability to act on own initiative while exercising independent judgment and discretion
- Understanding of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures for providing patient care
- Understanding common safety hazards and precautions to create a safe work environment
- Capability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- In an emergency, the ability to react calmly and effectively is required.
COMMON PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
A full range of motion is required, including manual and finger dexterity, as well as eye-hand coordination. Long periods of standing and walking are required. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion. Correction of vision and hearing to normal ranges was required. Working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours is required.
COMMON WORKING CONDITIONS:
Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, pharmaceutical preparations, and other clinic-related conditions.
