Sweden Global Masters Scholarship 2023-24 At Karolinska Institutet, Sweden: International Students are welcome to apply for the Global Master’s Scholarship 2023-24 at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. The scholarship allows for Masters’s level programs at Karolinska Institute in Bioentrepreneurship, BioMedicine, Global Health, Public Health, Toxicology, Nutrition Sciences, and Molecular Techniques in Life Science. The scholarship deadline is August 16, 2023.
Karolinska Institutet provides a limited number of tuition fee scholarships to students who have been admitted to one of the Global Master’s Programmes that begin each Autumn semester. The number of scholarships available varies from year to year, but KI offers a maximum of 10 scholarships per year across all Global Master’s Programmes. Competition is fierce, as approximately 1500 students apply for this scholarship each year.

Scholarship Benefits:
This scholarship only covers tuition or a portion of tuition for programs offered in part by Karolinska Institutet. Other expenses, such as travel and living, must be covered with additional funds.
Furthermore, the KI Global Master’s Scholarship only covers tuition for students enrolled in a Global Masters Programme at KI and cannot be used for other studies.

Criteria for Eligibility:
To be eligible for the KI Global Master’s Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
have applied to one of Karolinska Institutet’s Global Master’s Programmes beginning in 2023; be a tuition-paying student (from outside the EU/EEA); have paid the application fee by 1 February 2023, and meet the entry and documentation requirements for the program you have applied for.
Only first-year students are eligible.

The selection procedure
The selection process is based on an overall evaluation of the applicant’s CV and qualifications, which are submitted through University Admissions and evaluated in conjunction with an application for a KI Global Master’s program. Scholarship recipients will be contacted personally.

- The application deadline for our Global Master’s programs is October 17, 2023.
- The deadline for applications is January 16, 2023.
- The deadline for paying the application fee and submitting supporting documents is February 1, 2023.
