Eligibility Criteria

The University of British Columbia Fellowships 2020 in Canada is open to people who meet the following requirements:

  • The candidates are from Canada, the U.S., and other countries.
  • The candidate must have a college degree in computing, engineering, or natural sciences (including earth sciences, chemistry, physics, astronomy, biology, and neurobiology).
  • Must finish a Ph.D., or it should be done between June 1, 2023, and July 30, 2024. (You have to get your Ph.D. from UBC).
  • Must be available from July 2024 to September 2025, which includes the Global Meeting.

Selection Procedure

The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies will put together a committee to look over the nominations sent in by departments and send up to nine students to the foreign competition.
