The University of British Columbia Fellowships 2020 in Canada is open to people who meet the following requirements:
- The candidates are from Canada, the U.S., and other countries.
- The candidate must have a college degree in computing, engineering, or natural sciences (including earth sciences, chemistry, physics, astronomy, biology, and neurobiology).

The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies will put together a committee to look over the nominations sent in by departments and send up to nine students to the foreign competition.
